Polygamy, A Horror Story

As I came to understand the things of Mormon history, it became apparent to me that I would one day put it all into writing.

I wanted my blog to be a shadow of Alma 37. The prophecy tells us that in the last days there will be a servant of God, named Gazelem, who exposes the things of darkness.

I of course do not claim to be this servant, but I’ve wanted my blog to have that same calling.

Mark 4:

22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

Right now in the world we have people like Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. They are doing a fantastic job at exposing corporations for what they really are, as well as bringing to light the countless war-crimes committed in the name of American government.

They are doing what Gazelem will, only Gazelem will be revealing things on an even grander scale.

Wikileaks has just barely scratched the surface.

Recently, there is now a Mormonleaks.

https://mormonleaks.io/#about

Since its inception, I’ve been anticipating each release of whatever document ends up in their hands. There’s no telling what nuggets of truth will come from that website. The inner-workings of the LDS church is full of hypocrisy and lies.

Because of Mormonleaks, we know for certain the thing we always suspected: there IS a paid ministry. From what I’ve gathered, the apostles are raking in a six-digit salary on top of all their perks.

But the LDS church no longer interests me.

It was rejected of God by 1842. It’s a miracle that it has somehow sustained itself after everything that happened when Brigham, John, and Wilford were presidents.

Besides, we don’t need Mormonleaks to expose the things that the scriptures have already made clear.

The Gentiles rejected the fulness of the gospel, as told to us by Christ in 3rd Nephi 16.

It’s as simple as that.

However, Mormonleaks provides some interesting context, and will no doubt have an effect on blind Israel. Some will finally realize that their shepherds have been scattering them, not gathering them.

Heavy burdens have been put on the backs of the membership.

However, the need for a prophet and community has conjured Denver Snuffer into the spotlight.

The Saints are not leaving the church in favor of what the scriptures teach. They are leaving because of bullshitters like Grant Palmer, Jeremy Runnells, and, of course, Davey Snuffer.

This morning I perused Grant Palmer’s anti-Mormon book, “An Insider’s View of Mormon Origins,” and was blown away by how ridiculous it is.

I originally read it as a non-believer, and thought it was thoughtfully written.

Now I find all his contentions absolutely laughable.

He was an institute director for the LDS church for 35 years. You’d think all that studying would have opened his eyes to the truthfulness of God’s word.

In his disillusionment of the church, his faith has fallen to pieces. He claims to still believe in Christ, but he does not know Christ.

Christ says, “My sheep hear my voice.”

When the Lord speaks, his sheep hear it!

Anyone that rejects the Book of Mormon, or the revelations of Joseph Smith, are not in the fold of God.

Likewise, anyone that believes in false prophets, are not the sheep of Christ, but the sheep of the devil. (Alma 5)

I of course hope that many will recognize the error of their ways and accept the fulness of the gospel when the times of the Gentiles comes in for the last time–

Just because someone is deceived, doesn’t mean they don’t have a chance.

We all fall short in one area or another.

I am by no means righteous. I might understand the scriptures better than most, but that doesn’t make me better than anyone.

Yet righteousness is the standard in which we all need to be striving for.

I was blasted by a Snufferite who told me that I should not point out Denver Snuffer’s flaws. Prophets aren’t perfect, right?

Some are, actually.

In any case, Mosiah 23 says,

14 And also trust no one to be your teacher nor your minister, except he be a man of God, walking in his ways and keeping his commandments.

Denver Snuffer is not of God.

Those of God are not deceived; they recognize the voice of the Lord. Denver rejects Section 110, which contains Christ speaking. He has also broken the commandment of monogamy and remarried. He is not a man of God, and therefore I will not trust him as my teacher.

*

When I was beginning to have the scriptures illuminated before me by the spirit of revelation, I realized that Section 132, and polygamy in general, was entirely false.

By the spirit of revelation, I finally understood this passage of Isaiah… “In that day seven women shall take hold of one man…”

In my younger years, I used to think that was evidence for the truthfulness of polygamy. I now understand what Isaiah was actually saying:

1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

2 In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,

The beautiful branch of the Lord is not the polygamists, but those that ESCAPED Israel!

So I knew that polygamy would make a comeback, and when it did, the holy ones would escape and be in Zion/Jerusalem.

I used to think that the LDS church would bring back polygamy.

But I no longer believe this to be the case. Polygamy is going to pop its head back up, but it won’t be the LDS church.

I’ve now been saying for almost two years that Denver Snuffer will bring back polygamy; or, at very least, allow it to occur.

Mormonleaks has brought an interesting document to the table.

Snufferites are engaging in spiritual wifery!!!!!!

Of course, these “sealings” are “spiritual”.

They’re just doing what they believe Joseph did!

Denver has taught repeatedly that Joseph had himself sealed to multiple women.

However, he teaches that Joseph did not engage in sexual relations.

That was Brigham Young’s style, not Joseph’s.

Because of Snufferites belief in Denver’s teachings, they believe that Joseph Smith did not commit adultery, but that multiple sealings are ordained of God.

In the Snufferite movement it will become common-place to have yourself sealed to multiple others.

It’ll be “spiritual” – but eventually there will be sexual incidences. When this happens, Denver will not speak against it. He will give the people exactly what they want.

Denver will also introduce esoteric rituals into his temple.

Not the ones Brigham introduced, he says, but the endowment that Joseph revealed! Denver will finally bring it back… uh-huh.

The Snufferites believe that Joseph Smith did not fall from his station as prophet. They think he was teaching truth when he sealed himself to multiple women, introduced endowment ceremonies, and taught the King Follet Sermon.

Because they refuse to accept the cold hard truth about Joseph, they are going to fall for the exact same crap that the Nauvoo saints fell for.

History repeats itself.

And all of it will be made known.

Alma 37:

23 And the Lord said: I will prepare unto my servant Gazelem, a stone, which shall shine forth in darkness unto light, that I may discover unto my people who serve me, that I may discover unto them the works of their brethren, yea, their secret works, their works of darkness, and their wickedness and abominations.

Those that serve Christ, will know the truth of all things.

God will discover unto us all the secret works of darkness that are being committed by our brethren.

If I Were a Prophet pt. 3 “If I were a prophet…”

If I were a prophet, I would quote Section 29 and explain that God’s elect must be gathered to ONE place before the great tribulation goes forth.

If I were a prophet, I would claim to have no authority to gather God’s people, that the gathering will be under the direction of the First Elders of the church, who must return from the dead to complete their missions.

If I were a prophet, I would tell everyone to be watching and waiting for the return of the Lord’s servants, the First Elders, to whom Section 29, 84, and 88 are written to.

If I were a prophet, I would explain that the endowment is the baptism of fire, the High Priesthood, not a ceremony.

Furthermore, I would explain that God’s people must go to Kirtland, Ohio to receive the endowment.

If I were a prophet, I would prophecy that the 144,000 will be sealed to the High Priesthood in Kirtland,Ohio, and that they will give the final warning to all nations.

If I were a prophet, I would tell you that the Lord has not yet set his hand again the second time. I would tell you that this happens only once the Lord has made bare his holy arm. I would expound that the Lord’s arm is Joseph Smith; and that he is the one to gather the people and put the Marvelous Work into motion.

Once the Marvelous Work gathers the elect from the four quarters of the earth to Nauvoo, they will be caught up into the air to be with the Lord.

The earth will then be consumed with fire.

After this, the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven and build up the waste places of Missouri, and build Zion for the millennium.

*

But I am not a prophet.

I could be wrong, could be right.

There are billions of people on the earth. I would be hard-pressed to find five people that agree with the above statements.

Nevertheless, they are what I believe.

I really wish Mormonism was not true, and I could live a normal Christian life, but this is the light I have received.

If I reject further light, the light I have will be taken from me. (Alma 12; D&C 1)

So I continue to wait.

I have put my faith in the word of God. This is where it has lead me.

I have no church, no friends, no family, that think the same.

For now, I stand alone. All I have is faith that God’s word will come to pass.

Houses of God pt. 6 “Far West”

My views on temples is completely different than that of nearly anyone.

I have determined that there are three types of houses of God. I’ve classified them as such:

House of God

House/Temple of God

Temple of God.

Read the series to understand how I came to these conclusions.

Houses of God pt. 1 “The Fulness of the Gospel”

In my opinion I have proven (though I changed no one’s mind) that it was the Nauvoo HOUSE that needed to be built in time before the church was rejected, and not the Nauvoo Temple.

I believe this is important, because Denver Snuffer is building a temple and not a house when a house needs to first be built in order to receive the fulness of the priesthood.

I reached out to Snufferites to challenge me, and none did.

The Anarchist of https://ldsanarchy.wordpress.com/ however took me for a fool.

He believes my contention to be laughable.

He also believes that the Nauvoo Temple was accepted by God.

I find THAT laughable. He thinks that an unfinished temple was enough to appease God.

This is what the Lord says about his houses:

Let them from that time forth labor diligently until it shall be finished, from the cornerstone thereof unto the top thereof, until there shall not anything remain that is not finished.

-Section 115:12

So to me it sounds like God isn’t interested in unfinished temples.

Joseph Smith said this: “Don’t deny revelation. If the Temple and Nauvoo House are not finished, you must run away. Our salvation depends on it.”

The Nauvoo Temple was not finished. The historical record PROVES THAT.

This is what Brigham Young said in admittance:

I met with the Council of the Twelve in the southeast corner room of the attic of the Temple. We knelt around the altar, and dedicated the building to the Most High. We asked his blessing upon our intended move to the west; also asking him to enable us some day to finish the Temple, and dedicate it to him, and we would leave it in his hands to do as he pleased; and to preserve the building as a monument to Joseph Smith. We asked the Lord to accept the labors of his servants in this land. We then left the Temple.”

Immediately after Brigham’s prayer, the temple caught fire and went up in flames.

This happened in 1846.

Even by then, they never finished the freaking temple…

The historical record shows that the apostles built a masonic temple and built themselves expensive brick houses during the time in which they should have put all efforts into the Nauvoo House and Temple.

The Nauvoo Temple was never accepted by God.

That should be sufficient to prove that the church was rejected by God by this time.

I take it a step further and say the church was rejected by 1842. I also take it another step further and say that the Nauvoo House was what was being commanded of God to build during that appointed time in Nauvoo.

My ideas make things more complicated and harder for people to digest, but they are nonetheless true. All my ideas support the fact that the masonic endowment and polygamy were ploys of Satan. My conclusions let everything fall into their proper place.

I also believe that the Nauvoo Temple was defiled by its occult symbols as well as the Moroni statue. The Kirtland House/Temple, which was accepted by God, had none of that.

*

Now with all of this mind, in regards to Far West I want to mention something I’m suspecting about Section 115.

I believe that in order to understand the D&C we have to remove ourselves from the historical context of each revelation.

For instance:

The Saints believed Section 124 was referring to the Nauvoo Temple– because that’s where they were doing baptisms for the dead– and the Saints believed Section 84 was referring to the temple in Missouri, not the Kirtland House/Temple.

We have to mystically observe God’s word without using the hindsight of an apostate church!

Section 115 gives the commandment to build a House in Far West–

Or does it?

I believe Section 115 was never meant to have anything to do with Far West.

Perhaps Joseph and the Saints believed it was, but I believe it was a foreshadowing of the future.

This is speculative, and I don’t really feel like explaining it. I can’t even get people to believe anything else I’ve written about temples! Email me and I’ll entertain you:

theworkofthefather37 @ gmail . com

This is the last I will write in this series.

Perhaps I will write a part seven when I receive word that we must go to the Kirtland House/Temple for the solemn assembly as part of the marvelous work and a wonder….

Until then, yours truly:

“The Role of Women in the Plan of Salvation” pt. 3 The Eternal Law of Monogamy

This is a topic that is very near to my heart.

I believe it is a determining factor in finding the pure in heart during our time on earth. For us living at the close of the dispensation of the gospel of Abraham, it becomes even more important.

As we wait patiently for true prophets to return to the earth with the priesthood authority to establish Zion, we need to have our minds set on what we should be expecting by those that will profess to be sent from God.

*

Polygamy is the most important thing to happen to Mormonism. It’s the evidence that the LDS church is not true. Yet this is apparent through two differing views. Either it’s not true because of the abandonment of polygamy, or because it was practiced in the first place.

For Mormons that have awakened to the fact that the LDS leadership have next to zero inspiration, polygamy becomes a great test. Where did we go wrong?

For me it was a huge struggle. I studied countless different perspectives, considered all the angles.

Matter-of-factly, I really wanted the church to be true. Because of this, I blocked out my personal feelings on the matter. Polygamy just had to be true, or Joseph would have never started it.

The talk of Emma being destroyed in Section 132 turned my stomach into knots, but if the revelation came from God, who was I to criticize its language?

It was only until I came across a passage in the New Testament that changed everything for me.

Galatians 3:

22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of the promise.

This reminded me of Section 132. It spoke of both Ishmael (son of the bondmaid, Hagar) and Isaac (son of the freewoman, Sarah). So I looked up what it said:

Section 132:

34 God commanded Abraham, and Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham to wife. And why did she do it? Because this was the law; and from Hagar sprang many people. This, therefore, was fulfilling, among other things, the promises.

I realized that the message of Section 132 was out of sync with what Paul was saying: Isaac was of the promise, while Ishmael wasn’t! Yet 132 claims that Ishmael was somehow fulfilling these promises made to Abraham.

Section 132 is also incongruent with the Genesis account. There’s absolutely no evidence that God commanded Abraham to have a child through Hagar. I realized that Section 132 made claims that couldn’t be backed up by any other scriptures. It stood alone.

Since then, I’ve discovered literally dozens of more reasons to reject it. In this, I have not been alone. It’s become very apparent that there are many Saints now realizing how contradictory Section 132 truly is.

Here’s one such person: https://gregstocks.wordpress.com/2014/10/02/dc-section-132-is-an-other-gospel/

*

After realizing that polygamy is not true, the question becomes: Why would God allow it to enter into his church?

The next major realization is discovering that God didn’t, because when polygamy entered the LDS church in 1842, it was no longer his church anymore. As warned in Section 124, it had been rejected of him.

In Section 38, the Saints were told that they needed the law of the gospel to protect them against the enemy. If they had lived the law of the gospel as contained in Section 42, they would have been protected from Satan.

But they didn’t live the law. The everlasting covenant was broken, and Zion could not be established.

This is why Joseph Smith lost the spirit and turned into a lying adulterer.

I went through a stage where it was all I could do to believe that Joseph was in fact innocent, that the whole polygamy thing was a plot of Brigham Young, but I have since outgrown that paradigm.

I believe that Brigham loved Joseph and would not have lied about him. In fact, I believe that Brigham really thought of himself as a righteous man who was following God.

Apparently, on BY’s death-bed, his last words were, “Joseph, Joseph…”

He loved Joseph far more than he could ever love a spouse. I think this is a common trait in many men: they care more for their gender, and look down on woman.

I believe most men worship themselves and each other.

Heber C. Kimball, for instance, upon request of the prophet, was willing to give up his wife to Joseph. Of course, he ended up pimping out his fourteen-year-old daughter to him instead.

Heber essentially traded his soul to the devil; and in return, received 40+ wives.

Willard Richards, to use another example, took two young teenaged wives (16 and 14) in Nauvoo. His first wife, Jenetta Richards, died abruptly after those marriages. Willard and Jenetta’s son, Heber Richards, claimed that his mother had died of a broken heart.

I bring these up, not to point out how evil these former LDS leaders were, but to illustrate the reality of the situation.

Willard Richards wrote his first wife, “If you will cling to me, and seek my happiness to the end I will bring you into the kingdom.”

Today, Mormon men do not commit the sin of polygamy, but I believe they are under the same condemnation.

I feel as though they would if they could.

They do not have a testimony of the eternal law of monogamy. They do not seek to be one with their spouse, to be equal. Like Willard, they believe their wives must seek their happiness and that they will bring them to the celestial kingdom.

The Mormon temple sealing encourages these beliefs. The women “give” themselves to the man, and the man “receives” them. Also, there’s no mention of the word “love” during the entire thing– even though the scriptures tell us that God is love and that we should pray with all energy of heart to have love…

I believe that Mormonism mocks the most important thing we are to accomplish during our time on earth.

Richard G. Scott was my favorite of all the apostles that have been around during my lifetime. His wife passed away in 1995, but unlike nearly every other Mormon man (especially GA’s) he refused to remarry.

He had a testimony of Jesus’ teachings on marriage, not a testimony of the BS culture of Mormonism.

According to the Lord, we are to never divorce, nor remarry. Even if someone seperate from their spouse, they will always be married to that person in the eyes of God. Thus any remarraige is adultery. This includes polygamy. No second marriages are valid in the eyes of God as part of the celestial law of monogamy.

The reason for this is because in our spiritual creation we were both male and female. In this life we are to find our counterpart and become one flesh. Section 42 commands men to LOVE their wife, and cleave unto her and NONE ELSE.

After rejecting Section 42’s law of the gospel, is it any wonder that the church ended up practicing polygamy and ommitting the mention of love in their wedding ceremonies?

Without a true church and priesthood authority, the Saints were being controlled by men who were not annointed by God. This is why so many false doctrines have been perpetuated among God’s people.

Women, unlike men, are born with the innate desire to love. Eve was told that her desire would be to her husband, and that she would be saved by child-bearing.

How amazing is that?

Men, on the other hand, would not be saved so easy. Only by becoming a new creature in Christ do they have the oppurtunity to receive eternal life. Only by embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ can they be true husbands and fathers.

Men are NOT born with the innate desire to their wife. Men are born with pride, and their desire is to themselves.

The only men that are pure in heart are the ones that recognize the holiness and sanctity of marriage. They lift up the glory of women and are forever faithful.

They live the teachings of Jesus Christ, even when prophets don’t.

“The Role of Women in the Plan of Salvation” pt 2. Soul Mates

In the image of his own body, male and female, created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created and became living souls in the land upon the footstool of God.” (Moses 6:9)

This is a curious passage from the Joseph Smith Translation of Genesis.

Even in the King James Genesis, God refers to both Adam and Eve as a single individual. They are both considered, ‘Adam.’

The JST adds some clarification that they were created in the literal image of God’s ‘own body’. This leaves no room to debate what ‘image and likeness’ had inferred. We know that our bodies were literally designed to look the same as Jesus’ body.

Obviously, none of us look exactly as Jesus Christ. We all look differently. But I believe in the resurection, when we are joined with our male or female counterpart, to become one flesh as the scriptures indicate, we will then be in that same image.

…the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body.” (Phillipans 3:20-21)

I take this scripture literally, just as I take the phrase “one flesh” literally.

I believe all celestial bodies will be fashioned to look the same as Christ. This is only possible if we are joined together with our soul mate. I use the phrase ‘soul mate’, which is secular, but it accurately explains what the scriptures teach.

The JST of Genesis makes it very clear that Adam and Eve came forth out the same spiritual creation. We learn that on the sixth day man was created, but this was spiritually. Only until the seventh day was that man made into a living soul on the earth.

That spirit, which was both male and female, was created as Adam.

Eve was then taken from Adam. They were originally composite spirits, and were at one point the same body even. After Eve was taken from Adam, I believe this is when Adam no longer had the same image as Jesus Christ.

This is the case for all of us. Before we came here, we were originally genderless spirits. Our spirit was split in half as both male and female; and now, to receive a fulness of God’s glory, we must reunite with the other half of our spirit.

I realize this seems like a radical concept, that it does not appear conclusively in the scriptures, but I think the reason for this is that it is not something that will ever be commonly accepted. It’s not something people want to believe, but I think the followers of Jesus Christ have understood it in one way or another.

In the New Testament, Paul spoke very little of this mystical relationship between the sexes, but he seemed to know more than he let on.

“For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” (Ephesians 5:31-32)

Judging by that scripture, it seems to me as though Paul knew more than he was allowed to say. He was commanded by God to speak concering Christ and the church. The mysteries of God were not meant to be universally broadcasted. I believe only those in tune with the spirit will be able to read between the lines and understand the great mystery that Paul kept to himself.

Earlier in that chapter, Paul says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it…” (v.25-26)

The love between spouses is the power to SANCTIFY. Just as Christ sanctifies his believers, his believers then have the power to sanctify their spouse. This is reiterated in Corinthians:

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband.” 1 Corinthians 7:14

How is this possible? Because they are essentially the same person before God. They are both created in the flesh from the exact same spirit. Therefore, they carry the same sins and the same righteousness.

Again, I realize this is a radical concept.

Here’s a piece of scriptural evidence:

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman…” 1 Timothy 2:14

Consider that, and read this:

The devil tempted Adam, and he partook…” D&C 29:40

We all know that it was Eve who was deceived and partook, but in the D&C we hear God saying that it was Adam. This is because God looks at both Adam and Eve as the same!

Adam and Eve are the same spirit, yet two living souls, and are thus responsible for each other.

I came to believe this by reading D&C 49:

…marriage is ordained of God unto man. Wherefore, it is lawful that he should have one wife, and they twain shall be one flesh, and all this that the earth might answer the end of its creation; and that it might be filled with the measure of man, according to his creation before the world was made.” (v15-17)

In other words, marriage has been ordained that a man might have one wife so the two of them can be one flesh in the resurection. When this happens, they will fulfil the measure of their creation. This is according to their original spirtual creation BEFORE the world was made.

Marriage is ordained for soul mates!

To me, it couldn’t be any clearer.

I believe this is why the teachings of Jesus Christ are so strong about marriage and divorce. Our first marriage, regardless of how good or bad it is, is the only marriage that is legitimate in the eyes of God. There is no such thing as divorce in celestial law.

This is also why polygamy is not of God, which I will address in part three.

-G.azelem
