The Prophet pt. 4 “The Suffering Servant”

The LDS church is not the church that Joseph Smith restored in 1831.

The church today is simply a kingdom. The Kingdom of the Jews to be exact. The LDS church has been playing pretend for 170 years, masquerading the offices that Joseph put in place.

There was never meant to be string of successive prophets. This diminishes the role of Joseph Smith.

Joseph’s role in the last days is just as important as the role of Jesus Christ in the meridian of time. I say that boldly. Those with sensitive understanding might think I’m being blasphemous, but hear me out…

When the Lord came to the earth in the New Testament, he said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Mathew 15:24

Christ ministered unto the Jews which would reject him.

Joseph Smith ministered to the Gentiles who would reject him.

Christ lived a perfect life; Joseph Smith lived a sinner’s life.

Joseph was the inversion of Christ, the Lord.

All of this is part of the glorious plan of salvation to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man—

After Christ ascended to heaven, the gospel went to the Gentiles. After Joseph Smith fell from his station as True Prophet, the gospel went to the Jews.

I explained this in one of my very old posts: https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/08/17/nephi-prophecy-pt-4-a-delightsome-people/

The LDS church is the House of Israel, the Kingdom of the Jews.

John the Baptist/Elijah is going to return to the earth to overthrow it and make the paths of the Lord straight.

The New and Everlasting Covenant will finally be established for BOTH the Gentiles AND the Jews.

As Christ performed an atonement, so did Joseph Smith.

A literal reading of Isaiah proves that the “marred” servant is the same as the suffering servant.

If you believe in the Book of Mormon, that Joseph is the marred servant who declared the fulness of the gospel to the world, then you believe he is also the suffering servant who performed an atonement.

His atonement was an inversion of the atonement of Christ.

There is only a handful of people that believe this.

Are you one of them?

When I first heard of this idea, I thought it was just crazy, a theory devised by someone with too much time on their hands. However, I read the Old Testament and discovered its scriptural truth.

Joseph Smith was prophesied in 2nd Nephi 3 to be one like unto Moses.

What did Moses accomplish? He gave up his life and status before God, in order for the Jews to not be wiped off the earth!!

Psalm 106:

23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Moses and Joseph are the ones that took the wrath of God instead of their people.

When the church fell into apostasy late 1834, Joseph stood in the breach and took the wrath of God instead of his people. To do this, Joseph had to commit sin.

If he hadn’t, the curse would have gone forth and destroyed the Saints instead of Joseph.

I recommend reading this article:

Not many people will believe or even fully understand the atonement offering of Joseph Smith; and that’s okay.

For now.

These deep spiritual truths are slowly being digested by the elect of God. Soon enough we will see eye-to-eye.

  1. I believe this, though I am not sure if Joseph had to sin or that it was merely a consequence of the intercession. In other words, in taking on the sins of the their respective peoples, it caused mortal men, i.e. Joseph, Moses, to carry out those sins.
