The Priesthood pt. 1 “Nobody Holds the Melchizedek Priesthood — Sorry, Not Sorry”

Section 50 was given to the “elders” of the church. They had all been ordained Elders, which comes UNDER the Melchizedek priesthood.

Being an Elder is not the same as holding the Melchizedek priesthood.

See Section 107:

63 Wherefore, from deacon to teacher, and from teacher to priest, and from priest to elder…

64 Then comes the Highest Priesthood, which is the greatest of all.

Section 50 was given to the elders of the church who had not received the fulness of the priesthood.

In that section, God puts forth a question.

The question is: “unto what were ye ordained?”

He then says, “ye shall answer this question yourselves.”

Meaning God is not answering the question–

We are to answer it.

Unto what have we been ordained? Do we hold the Melchizedek priesthood, or are we just elders?

16 Behold ye shall answer this question yourselves; nevertheless I will be merciful unto you; he that is weak among you hereafter shall be made strong.

I believe the Lord is telling the first elders and us that we must admit we have not been ordained to the fulness of the priesthood. Yet in our weakness, as elders, we will made strong as high priests!

God says, “he that is ordained of me and sent forth to preach the word of truth by the Comforter, in the Spirit of truth, doth he preach it by the Spirit of truth or some other way? And if it be by some other way, it is not of God.” Verse 17-18

Those that are not ordained to the Melchizedek priesthood are not OF God!

He that receiveith of God, let him account it of God, and let him rejoice that he is accounted of God.” Verse 34

Who are OF God?

The sons of God!!!!

How do you become a son of God? By receiving a baptism of fire.

The Melchizedek priesthood is the baptism of fire.

After Adam was baptized by fire, he entered the Melchizedek order.

Moses 6:

66 Thou art baptized with fire, and with the Holy Ghost…

67 Thou art after the order of him who was without beginning of days or end of years.

This is the same terminology for the high priests in The Book of Mormon.

Alma 13:

8 …. taking upon them the high priesthood of the holy order, which calling, and ordinance, and high priesthood is without beginning or end–

9 Thus they become high priests forever, after the order of the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, who is without beginning of days or end of years.

11 Therefore they were called after this holy order, and were sanctified.

We know that sanctification occurs with the reception of the Holy Ghost, a baptism of fire.

So when someone receives the baptism of fire, the other Comforter, they are part of the holy order of God.

THAT is the Melchizedek priesthood.

Section 50 says that, “he that is ordained of God… is possessor of all things… but no man is possessor of all things except he be cleansed from all sin.” Verses 26-28

You need to be cleansed from all sin before you are ordained of God.

The elders were told in Section 50 that they, “cannot bear all things now.” Verse 40

This is evidence that the Melchizedek priesthood was not yet given to the church!

It was only until the Morley Farm Conference in June 1831 that the Melchizedek priesthood was restored to the earth.

As Elders/Apostles of the church, they held the KEYS of the Melchizedek priesthood, but needed to receive a baptism of fire before being ordained to the fulness of the priesthood.

Section 52– received at the Morley Farm Conference– is to the elders of the church who have been called AND chosen. (Verse 1)

Being called is the calling to receive the ordination of Elder.

Being chosen is God choosing his servants to enter the holiest order of God.

Section 53 shines light on the distinctions between this. The revelation is to Sidney Gilbert, concerning his, “calling and election in the church.”

Sidney was called to be an elder, to PREACH faith and repentance. He was not yet ELECTED to ADMINISTER the gospel.

These are the first ordinances which you shall receive; and the residue shall be made known in a time to come, according to your labor in the vineyard.” verse 6

The next ordinance Sidney Gilbert would receive was an ordination to High Priest.

That was his calling and election/being chosen.

Once he received his calling AND election, he could do more than just preach; he could administer the saving ordinances.

So how do you make your calling and election made sure? This the question so many Mormons have stumbled around.

It as simple as this: Your calling and election is made sure when you receive the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth.

This happens through a baptism of fire.

That is the gospel. That is the doctrine of Christ.

2nd Nephi 31

17 … the gate by which ye should enter is repentance, and baptism of water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and and by the Holy Ghost.

18 And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life.

We are only in the strait and narrow path if we have received a baptism of fire!!!!!!!

Receiving the baptism of fire puts us in the order which has no beginning of days or end of years.

Lastly, I want to take a look at Section 43 and it’s implications now that we understand what the Melchizedek Priesthood really is.

For verily I say unto you, he that is ordained of me shall come in at the gate.” verse 7

What is the gate?

The doctrine of Christ.

This I give unto you that you may not be deceived.” verse 6

Did the LDS church receive the teachings and leadership of someone who did not come in at the gate, receiving a baptism of fire to be properly ordained?

Methinks…

yes.

Brigham Young did not receive sanctification like the first elders of the church.

He was only an Elder.

Section 20 tells us that an elder is the same as an apostle.

So Brigham being an apostle doesn’t count as coming in through the gate.

Who did come in at the gate?

The first elders of the church!

They are who Section 84 and 88 are speaking of.

Wherefore, I now send upon you another Comforter, even upon you my friends, that it may abide in your hearts, even the Holy Spirit of Promise; which other Comforter is the same that I promised unto my disciples, as is recorded in the testimony of John. The Comforter is the promise which I give unto you of eternal life, even the glory of the celestial kingdom.”

88:3-4

The Comforter is the Holy Spirit of Promise!

Those that enter into the celestial kingdom must receive the Holy Spirit of Promise.

Section 76:

52 That by keeping the commandments they might be washed and cleansed from all their sins, and receive the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands of him who is ordained AND sealed unto this power.

53 And who overcome by faith, and are sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise.

57 [they] are priests of the Most High, after the order of Melchizedek…

We need to receive the Holy Ghost by someone who is ordained AND sealed unto that power.

To be sealed unto that power is to receive the Comforter, which is what the first elders received, and the original Twelve Apostles, as well as the Three Nephites & others.

We cannot receive a baptism of fire until someone who has already received a baptism of fire lays their hands on us.

Being an Elder is not enough to administer the gospel in power. It is only enough to PREACH the gospel.

We must be watching for those the Lord has properly ordained. Those that have come in at the gate, been baptized, and received the one and only Comforter, the Spirit of Truth.

When the final servants go forth to bind up the law of consecration among the (true!) Saints, they will also seal us up to eternal life the way Joseph sealed up the first elders as recorded in Sections 84 and 88.

If I Were A Prophet pt. 2 “John W Johnston”

In my search to further understand the prophetic events of The Book of Revelation, I came across an interesting website written by a Christian man who believes himself to be a prophet. Interesting enough, I find a lot of his revelations in tune with the holy writ of God, and my own revelation on top of that.

His name is John Johnston and his website is

https://unitedstatesprophecy.com/

One thing that he said which I found interesting was claiming that the curse in Deuteronomy 28, where Israel is scattered seven ways, is taking place now.

I too believe that to be the case. Difference between John and I is that I believe the cursing of Deut 28 is specifically referring to Mormonism.

ldsbranches1.jpg

Israel/Mormons were scattered seven ways after the complete apostasy of the LDS church.

Now on top of that… I have entertained a new idea! What if this is to be correlated with the seven churches in The Book of Revelation? What if the seven churches John was writing to were the seven branches of Mormonism/Israel?

I’ll leave it up to the reader to determine which church relates to which branch.

Israel was truly scattered seven ways.

Whether or not the seven churches of Revelation are related to this is up to debate.

I myself always wondered why there was ever seven churches. Shouldn’t there be ONE TRUE CHURCH?

Seven different churches, all doing different things wrong, sounds pretty apostate.

Sounds pretty Mormon to me.

I’d love to get feedback on this concept.

*

What brought me to the website was my new-found understanding that Nero is part of “the beast”– specifically, the one that will return to the earth in the last days– and this is something that John Johnson seems to understand as well.

The whore of the earth has seven heads, and ten horns.

The ten horns are to be the ten kings of ten kingdoms that join the new world order in the last days.

But what about the seven heads? The heads were each a king of Rome. The seventh is Nero, and he comes into play later.

Here is why:

Revelation 17:

10 And there are seven kings; five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is that eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

The beast that returns, is the same king as the seventh. At the time of John’s writing, five kings had fallen, and one was currently reigning, and the next one would ultimately become the beast of the last days.

The next king, the seventh, who had not yet come to reign, was Nero. This emperor would go on to kill and persecute the Saints, and eradicate true Christianity.

18742562b5e70ad967943130340e1496_nero-nero-clipart_860-1024.gif

When Nero returns as the beast, the anti-christ, he will bring the ten kingdoms together. Their kings will, “give their kingdom to the beast.” Revelation 17:17

I’ll also let the reader determine which are these ten kingdoms that will give their kingdom to the anti-christ.

Returning back to the prophecies of John Johnson, here is his most impressive prophecy:

When you see that the Berlin wall comes down and when you see the Soviet Union take a severe blow then it makes a recovery, and then you see the death of Fidel Castro; then shall come the collapse of the economic system of the United States.”

John received that revelation in 1981, and it came to pass accordingly, in the exact order he prophesied.

I am not saying the man is a prophet; I am simply pointing out his amazing claims which have major implications.

I noticed two other very interesting things on his site that correlate with my own understanding of the prophetic events taking place:

1.

God told me in June 2008 that He is not going to delay His judgments any longer. “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7 NKJV)”

This coincides with the economic crash which occurred months later after his prophecy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subprime_crisis_impact_timeline#December_2008

This falls in line with other prophecies.

Genesis 15:13 “Then the LORD said to Abram, “You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years.”

From 1608, to 2008, the people of America were oppressed until the financial crash. Now there is an uprising.

Joseph Smith prophesied that during the final civil war, “slaves shall rise up against their masters.” D&C 87:4

God was not talking about the African slaves; he was talking about the seed of Abraham which encompasses the entire American nation.

2008 also falls in line with another string of prophetic events.

For a deeper context, here are the words of Lyman Wight:

The temple was somewhere in building the second story when Bro Joseph from the Stand announced the alarming declaration that baptism for our dead was no longer acceptable in the river As much to say the time for building the temple had passed by and both we and our dead were rejected together. The church now stands rejected together with their dead The church being rejected now stands alienated from her God in every sense of the word” Church History Vol 2 p 790

I believe this occurred on September 11th, 1841.

Four biblical generations later, 160 years, was September 11th, 2001.

After that the USA had seven good years up until 2008, then seven bad years.

Which leads us to now.

Fidel Castro has died, and now we can expect Section 87 to be fulfilled. The complete collapse of America is about to be witnessed, right before our very eyes.

John Johnson also believes we are living in the fifth seal, which is what I too believe.

When the sixth seal opens, the servants will return to bind up the law and seal up the testimony.

Any day now the sixth seal will open.

2.

In the spring of 1995 I was working in my garage when I saw a lead crystal glass podium come up out of the garage floor. I stood watching in amazement as it rose up out of the floor! It was pure crystal and on top of the podium was what looked like a golden egg holder like the ones the Russians used to hold ornately decorated eggs. The golden stand stood about 12 inches high, was solid gold and had three legs supporting the cup. It was decorated with precious stones. A human heart was cradled in the egg stand. The heart had barbed wire, bailing wire and large chains wrapped around it several times. Blood was pouring out of the heart and onto the floor. It then turned into a river of blood. The garage floor was covered with blood and I found myself standing in this blood.

I could not believe what I was seeing and I did not understand what it meant. So I asked God, “What does this mean?” He said, “Satan had a major strategic plan since World War II to desensitize a whole generation of people for himself. Unless the Satanic chains and bondage of desensitization are broken over their hearts, minds, spirit and souls of my people, which are called by my name, they will not be able to feel the spiritual, physical or emotional needs of other people to whom they minister the Gospel. This vision was given to the Church.”

This fits perfect.

I believe the final biblical generation before the millennium is from 1995-2035.

The church broke the new and everlasting covenant in 1835.

Four generations later you get to 1995, which is going to be last generation.

According to John Johnson, Satan KNOWS this is the final generation, which is why he is doing EVERYTHING he can to destroy the youth of this generation.

Through the internet. Sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

Satan is winning.

He is killing Christians in the middle east, and killing the youth in the west with unbelief, bringing them all into the murky waters of sin.

However, the tables will turn when Christ opens the sixth seal.

The Saints will be prepared for the final hour of judgment.

Chaos is about to break out.

But God’s elect will be safely gathered to one place before the tribulations are sent forth.

I hope and pray– and believe– the man John Johnston has enough light in him to heed the call to Zion.

Houses of God pt. 6 “Far West”

My views on temples is completely different than that of nearly anyone.

I have determined that there are three types of houses of God. I’ve classified them as such:

House of God

House/Temple of God

Temple of God.

Read the series to understand how I came to these conclusions.

Houses of God pt. 1 “The Fulness of the Gospel”

https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/12/21/houses-of-god-pt-1/

Houses of God pt. 2 “Kirtland”

https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/12/21/houses-of-god-pt-2-kirtland/

Houses of God pt. 3 “Nauvoo”

https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/12/21/houses-of-god-pt-3-nauvoo/

Houses of God pt. 4 “The Redemption of Zion”

https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/12/21/houses-of-god-pt-4-the-redemption-of-zion/

Houses of God pt. 5 “The Temple of Doom”

https://themarvelouswork.com/2017/01/05/houses-of-god-pt-5-the-temple-of-doom/

[Note: I recognize the series is kinda long. I recommend reading at least part 3-5 for context.]

*

In my opinion I have proven (though I changed no one’s mind) that it was the Nauvoo HOUSE that needed to be built in time before the church was rejected, and not the Nauvoo Temple.

I believe this is important, because Denver Snuffer is building a temple and not a house when a house needs to first be built in order to receive the fulness of the priesthood.

I reached out to Snufferites to challenge me, and none did.

The Anarchist of https://ldsanarchy.wordpress.com/ however took me for a fool.

He believes my contention to be laughable.

He also believes that the Nauvoo Temple was accepted by God.

I find THAT laughable. He thinks that an unfinished temple was enough to appease God.

This is what the Lord says about his houses:

Let them from that time forth labor diligently until it shall be finished, from the cornerstone thereof unto the top thereof, until there shall not anything remain that is not finished.

-Section 115:12

So to me it sounds like God isn’t interested in unfinished temples.

Joseph Smith said this: “Don’t deny revelation. If the Temple and Nauvoo House are not finished, you must run away. Our salvation depends on it.”

The Nauvoo Temple was not finished. The historical record PROVES THAT.

This is what Brigham Young said in admittance:

I met with the Council of the Twelve in the southeast corner room of the attic of the Temple. We knelt around the altar, and dedicated the building to the Most High. We asked his blessing upon our intended move to the west; also asking him to enable us some day to finish the Temple, and dedicate it to him, and we would leave it in his hands to do as he pleased; and to preserve the building as a monument to Joseph Smith. We asked the Lord to accept the labors of his servants in this land. We then left the Temple.”

Immediately after Brigham’s prayer, the temple caught fire and went up in flames.

This happened in 1846.

Even by then, they never finished the freaking temple…

The historical record shows that the apostles built a masonic temple and built themselves expensive brick houses during the time in which they should have put all efforts into the Nauvoo House and Temple.

The Nauvoo Temple was never accepted by God.

That should be sufficient to prove that the church was rejected by God by this time.

I take it a step further and say the church was rejected by 1842. I also take it another step further and say that the Nauvoo House was what was being commanded of God to build during that appointed time in Nauvoo.

My ideas make things more complicated and harder for people to digest, but they are nonetheless true. All my ideas support the fact that the masonic endowment and polygamy were ploys of Satan. My conclusions let everything fall into their proper place.

I also believe that the Nauvoo Temple was defiled by its occult symbols as well as the Moroni statue. The Kirtland House/Temple, which was accepted by God, had none of that.

*

Now with all of this mind, in regards to Far West I want to mention something I’m suspecting about Section 115.

I believe that in order to understand the D&C we have to remove ourselves from the historical context of each revelation.

For instance:

The Saints believed Section 124 was referring to the Nauvoo Temple– because that’s where they were doing baptisms for the dead– and the Saints believed Section 84 was referring to the temple in Missouri, not the Kirtland House/Temple.

We have to mystically observe God’s word without using the hindsight of an apostate church!

Section 115 gives the commandment to build a House in Far West–

Or does it?

I believe Section 115 was never meant to have anything to do with Far West.

Perhaps Joseph and the Saints believed it was, but I believe it was a foreshadowing of the future.

This is speculative, and I don’t really feel like explaining it. I can’t even get people to believe anything else I’ve written about temples! Email me and I’ll entertain you:

theworkofthefather37 @ gmail . com

This is the last I will write in this series.

Perhaps I will write a part seven when I receive word that we must go to the Kirtland House/Temple for the solemn assembly as part of the marvelous work and a wonder….

Until then, yours truly:

The Prophet pt. 5 “The D&C”

David Whitmer is a curious individual; who, in his search for truth, ended up in a mind-bending situation.

Actually, that describes all of us!

We know that Joseph Smith is legit, but there is so much baggage that comes with him.

Me: I reject polygamy, the endowment ceremony, and the King Follet discourse.

Others consider the D&C as baggage.

This is in part due to David Whitmer.

He wrote An Address to Believers in Christ, in which he espoused the truth of the Book of Mormon, but rejected everything that followed.

It’s understandable why he would do this.

The church went into condemnation by 1835, and was rejected by 1842.

To him and others, it might seem kind of pointless to restore a church for it to go directly into apostasy.

To me it makes perfect sense when you understand the duality of Joseph’s mission. The church was just the foundation– the foundation to the great work that will come because of it.

I highly recommend reading what David Whitmer wrote:

http://www.utlm.org/onlinebooks/address1.htm

He even talks about the incredible conference on June 6th 1831 where the Melchizedek priesthood was restored!!!

He, however, rejects the ordinations as false.

In doing this, David Whitmer rejected the fulness of the priesthood, which is the fulness of the gospel.

David Whitmer is the equivalent of the Gentiles prophesied of by Jesus Christ in 3rd Nephi 16.

He rejected the fulness of the gospel!!!

These ideas have picked up traction. The website http://greatandmarvelouswork.com/ rejects all the revelations received by Joseph Smith in the D&C.

Their reasoning for this is because they dangerously misinterpret something the Lord said to Martin Harris:

He [Joseph Smith] has a gift to translate the book and I have commanded him that he shall pretend to no other gift, for I will grant him no other gift.

David Whitmer and these boys of great-and-marvelous-work take issue with the change made to its text in the 1835 D&C:

5:4 And you have a gift to translate the plates; and this is the first gift that I bestowed upon you; and I have commanded that you should pretend to no other gift until my purpose is fulfilled in this; for I will grant unto you no other gift until it is finished.

They think this is Joseph Smith revising the revelations to his own accord, to give him more power and authority than God gave him. I think they are dead-wrong.

The changes made to the Book of Commandments to the D&C were commanded of by God.

Same with changing the name of the church–

Joseph Smith was doing what God wanted. The changes made to the D&C were inspired.

Regardless as to whether or not people believe that or not, let’s look at the Book of Mormon and what IT has to say about the seer, Joseph Smith.

I believe the Book of Mormon PROVES that Joseph’s calling was to do more than just translate the plates.

2nd Nephi 3:

8 And I will give unto him a commandment that he shall do none other work, save the work which I shall command him. And I will make him great in mine eyes; for he shall do my work.

9 And he shall be great like unto Moses, whom I have said I would raise up unto you, to deliver my people, O house of Israel.

Joseph Smith is to be like unto Moses, to deliver the people of Israel!

That “work” is much more than just translating the Book of Mormon.

But what about the D&C– is that part of this work?

YES!

17 And the Lord hath said: I will raise up a Moses; and I will give power unto him in a rod; and I will give judgment unto him in writing. Yet I will not loose his tongue, that he shall speak much, for I will not make him mighty in speaking. But I will write unto him my law, by the finger of mine own hand; and I will make a spokesman for him.

Joseph was to write God’s law.

And a spokesman was to be designated for him.

You NEED the D&C to know the law (section 42) and to know who the spokesman is.

One thing I always wondered was why God took so long identifying the spokesman as Sidney Rigdon.

Why didn’t God do it immediately?

Why did God wait until Section 100? Why not Section 35?

I believe he waited for the sole reason to vindicate the prophecies contained in the D&C.

The D&C has to be true long enough for Joseph to finish the work that the Book of Mormon outlines.

-G.azelem

Enoch pt. 2 “The Slavic Book of Enoch”

Why is Eve the mother of all living?

Is Adam not? Section 107 says “his posterity should be the chosen of the Lord.”

Kind of a funny thing to say if Adam’s posterity includes Cain.

I do not believe that Cain was a son of Adam. Nowhere in the scriptures does it teach that Cain is the seed of Adam, who is a son of God. (Moses 6:22)

When Seth is born, Adam says, “God hath appointed me another seed, instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.” (Moses 6:2)

Another piece of evidence that proves Cain was a child of Satan, and not Adam, is Enoch’s vision of the pre-flood earth: “Enoch also beheld the residue of the people which were the sons of Adam, save it was the seed of Cain.” Moses 7:22

According to the Lord, Cain was a son of perdition before the the world was made!!!!!! Moses 5:24

Cain was born of a miraculous conception, similar to Christ. That’s why Eve said, “I have gotten a man from the Lord.” She knew that Cain was not a result of her union with Adam.

Cain was a result of her relationship with Satan.

This is pretty freaky stuff, I know.

2 Enoch correlates my bat-shit crazy beliefs.

31:

The devil understood that I wanted to create another world, because Adam was the lord on the earth, to rule and control it.

Therefore he devised a thought against Adam, in which he ENTERED and SEDUCED Eve.

To me this makes perfect sense.

How does eating fruit from a tree make you able to have children–? The fruit was a euphemism for sex.

Those that are the seed of Cain even came to Israel in the meridian of time and pretended that they were the posterity of Adam-Noah-Abraham.

Jesus called them out:

If God were your father, ye would love me… Ye are of your father the devil.” (John 8:41, 44)

The Jews that were legitimately Jews, that rejected Christ, are not seed of Cain/Satan; they were blinded and remain Terrestrial souls– but that gets into another realm of deep theology.

Lastly, I want to touch on a subject that is very close to home.

I’ll provide a verse from 2 Enoch and then explain.

This place, O Enoch, is prepared for those that dishonor God, that practice sin against nature, which is sodomy of a child, corruption of children, performing magic, enchantments, and devilish witchcrafts.” 2 Enoch 10:3

The seed of Cain has one very important goal: to corrupt children.

Specifically, the children of Adam.

They are targeted by Satan.

I myself was molested as a child. So was my girlfriend, my mother, and nearly all of my aunts. This is the common experience for God’s people. Satan knows who to target.

A large portion of God’s people is in the LDS church.

If you haven’t read this–

http://www.utlm.org/newsletters/no80.htm

–you really need to.

I believe Ritual Child Abuse is a real thing that is occurring on a level that no one will believe nor report. Glenn K. Pace was an amazing man who tried to bring these things to light. The First Presidency refused to take him seriously.

For that, they will be judged, and receive greater condemnation. Mathew 23:14

2 Enoch ends on a happy note, with the birth of Melchizedek.

Melchizedek was born miraculously in opposition of the seed of Cain. His mother died giving birth to him, but Melchizedek was born fully developed. He was born grown up already!

Melchizedek was then raptured.

The floods came.

And Melchizedek returned to the earth at a later time with the priesthood he held to give it to Abraham, to bless the posterity of Adam.

Melchizedek is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ.

Jesus from birth was fully developed (teaching people in the temple as child) and was caught up to heaven. Like Melchizedek, he returns to the earth to give the priesthood/baptism of fire.

Satan throws all his punches trying to put a glitch in the plans of God, but the people of God will endure and overcome.

Praise God almighty and all the works of his hands.

The Prophet pt. 4 “The Suffering Servant”

The LDS church is not the church that Joseph Smith restored in 1831.

The church today is simply a kingdom. The Kingdom of the Jews to be exact. The LDS church has been playing pretend for 170 years, masquerading the offices that Joseph put in place.

There was never meant to be string of successive prophets. This diminishes the role of Joseph Smith.

Joseph’s role in the last days is just as important as the role of Jesus Christ in the meridian of time. I say that boldly. Those with sensitive understanding might think I’m being blasphemous, but hear me out…

When the Lord came to the earth in the New Testament, he said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Mathew 15:24

Christ ministered unto the Jews which would reject him.

Joseph Smith ministered to the Gentiles who would reject him.

Christ lived a perfect life; Joseph Smith lived a sinner’s life.

Joseph was the inversion of Christ, the Lord.

All of this is part of the glorious plan of salvation to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man—

After Christ ascended to heaven, the gospel went to the Gentiles. After Joseph Smith fell from his station as True Prophet, the gospel went to the Jews.

I explained this in one of my very old posts: https://themarvelouswork.com/2015/08/17/nephi-prophecy-pt-4-a-delightsome-people/

The LDS church is the House of Israel, the Kingdom of the Jews.

John the Baptist/Elijah is going to return to the earth to overthrow it and make the paths of the Lord straight.

The New and Everlasting Covenant will finally be established for BOTH the Gentiles AND the Jews.

As Christ performed an atonement, so did Joseph Smith.

A literal reading of Isaiah proves that the “marred” servant is the same as the suffering servant.

If you believe in the Book of Mormon, that Joseph is the marred servant who declared the fulness of the gospel to the world, then you believe he is also the suffering servant who performed an atonement.

His atonement was an inversion of the atonement of Christ.

There is only a handful of people that believe this.

Are you one of them?

When I first heard of this idea, I thought it was just crazy, a theory devised by someone with too much time on their hands. However, I read the Old Testament and discovered its scriptural truth.

Joseph Smith was prophesied in 2nd Nephi 3 to be one like unto Moses.

What did Moses accomplish? He gave up his life and status before God, in order for the Jews to not be wiped off the earth!!

Psalm 106:

23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Moses and Joseph are the ones that took the wrath of God instead of their people.

When the church fell into apostasy late 1834, Joseph stood in the breach and took the wrath of God instead of his people. To do this, Joseph had to commit sin.

If he hadn’t, the curse would have gone forth and destroyed the Saints instead of Joseph.

I recommend reading this article:

Not many people will believe or even fully understand the atonement offering of Joseph Smith; and that’s okay.

For now.

These deep spiritual truths are slowly being digested by the elect of God. Soon enough we will see eye-to-eye.

Enoch pt. 1 “The Ethiopic Book of Enoch”

Adam stood up… and predicted whatsoever should befall his posterity unto the latest generation. These things were all written in the Book of Enoch and are to be testified of in due time.

D&C 107:56-57

I have recently read through the Book of Enoch, which is the book I believe the Lord was referring to in Section 107.

I want to share some of the things I learned while reading it.

The first Book of Enoch (or 1 Enoch) has been in the Ethiopic Christian Church since 330 AD, maybe even before that.

I believe that the Ethiopic Christian Church spawned off the true church of God, which was in existence for hundreds of years after Christ’ ascension to heaven— contrary to popular Mormon belief that the apostasy occurred immediately after New Testament times—

The writers of the New Testament even quote passages from the Book of Enoch. It’s the real deal.

Prepare to have your minds blown.

The text has this to say about itself: “it [is] not for this generation to know, but for a remote one which is to come.” 1:2

The generation which is to know the things of The Book of Enoch is this one. However, I don’t think READING the text is what Enoch means. It’s KNOWING the things that the Book of Enoch contains.

The canonized scriptures we have are already more than sufficient enough.

The Book of Enoch is a prophecy of the last days. Understanding the prophecies pertaining to the end-times is something only few understand. A remote generation shall know them.

The text talks about the gathering and the rapture.

The remote generation will understand and believe in the gathering and the rapture. Whether or not they have read the Book of Enoch is irrelevant. Reading the text is nonetheless a worthy endeavor.

It proves many of my controversial beliefs.

My belief that Satan’s angels come and receive bodies is in there.

Scholars have read the text and believe that the angels do not take bodies, but simply come to the earth in their angelic form and have sex with women.

That…. would contradict the Bible and the JST.

One scripture solves the apparent contradiction. Speaking of these angels of heaven that have had sex with the daughters of men, creating demonic children, the Lord says, “they have transgressed the commandment of the Lord in the beginning of their rising, because they did not come out at their proper times.18:15

The angels decided to come to the earth earlier than they were supposed to! They did this because they lusted after women which were not designated for them.

This is extremely fascinating to me.

The text also speaks of secret combinations and oaths between Satanic individuals. It talks about how technology was devised by Satan to bring about war.

I highly recommend reading the whole thing.

For right now, I want to show how Enoch prophesied of Joseph Smith and the restoration, the same things that Adam would prophecy of: the things that would befall his posterity down to the last generation. (D&C 107)

Enoch talks about a seven week time period that spans all mankind. It is similar to the seven seals.

I believe the events of each week correspond with all of my writings.

I am now providing excerpts which are all contained in 1 Enoch 93:

Enoch says, “I was born in the end of the first week [where] able judgment and righteousness still endured. And after me there shall arise in the second week great wickedness, and deceit shall have sprung up; and in it there shall be the first end.”

The first end is clearly the flood.

And in it a man shall be saved.”

Noah.

And after [the second week] is ended, unrighteousness shall grow up, and a law shall be made for the sinners.”

Law of Moses.

And after that in the third week, at its close a man shall be elected as the plant of righteous judgment, and his posterity shall become the plant of righteousness forever more.”

Jesus Christ is the plant, and his posterity are his followers.

And after that, in the fourth week, at its close, visions of the holy and the righteous shall be seen, and a law for all generations.”

This is referring to the visions that the prophets Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon saw. The law for all generations is the law of the gospel, Section 42, which contains the law of consecration and the law of monogamy.

And after that, in the fifth week, at its close, the house of glory and dominion shall be built forever.”

The Kirtland House/Temple!

And after that in the sixth week, all who live shall be blinded… and the whole race of the chosen shall be dispersed.”

This is exactly what I’ve been saying: EVERYONE that is alive has been blinded. They are either blind to the truth of Jesus Christ, or they blindly continue sinning.

Even though Joseph Smith came and built the temple to gather Israel, the whole thing fell apart and the chosen ones have been dispersed throughout the earth!!!!!!!!!

And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise.”

This is the apostasy of the LDS church, which occurred in 1835. Without the fulness of the priesthood, the church could not redeem Zion, and began apostate practices such as polygamy. However, there is good news:

And at its end [it] shall be elected, the elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness shall be chosen to receive sevenfold instruction.”

The wheat will be elected to receive further instruction…

Compare that to what Joseph Smith said, “It is not necessary that God should give us all things in His first commission to us, but in His second. John saw the angel deliver the Gospel in the last days. The small lights that God has given are sufficient to lead us out of Babylon; when we get out, we shall have the greater light.” (TPJS 104)

The LDS church was given the first commission. At the end of the seventh week, we will be gathered out of Babylon, and then receive sevenfold instruction for the second commission.

The Prophet pt. 3 “Fallen Prophet”

“Fallen Prophet”

Joseph Smith was going to fall from his position as prophet and president of the church.

This was known from the very start of the second watch.

D&C 28:7 “For I have given him the keys of the mysteries, and the revelations which are sealed, until I shall appoint unto them another in his stead.”

Combine that scripture with D&C 43:

3 And this ye shall know assuredly—that there is none other appointed unto you to receive commandments and revelations until he be taken, if he abide in me.

4 But verily, verily, I say unto you, that none else shall be appointed unto this gift except it be through him; for if it be taken from him he shall not have power except to appoint another in his stead.

But wait…..

Didn’t Section 28 say that God was eventually going to appoint the revelations to someone in place of Joseph?

Section 43 says the only reason that would happen was if Joseph stops abiding in the Lord.

Therefore, God KNEW this would be the case.

The D&C cryptically proves that Joseph was foreknown by God to fall from his calling. It was part of God’s plan.

God knew it was going to happen. He even told Joseph in 1830, “if thou art not aware, thou wilt fall.” D&C 3:9

He was telling him to be AWARE. Pay attention. You’re going to fall. When that happens do the right thing—

Joseph tried telling the Saints he was no longer a prophet. He told the Saints to heed Hyrum. He even gave this curious announcement: “I’d rather be a fallen true prophet than a false one.”

That’s because he knew he’d fallen from his position!!

He returned to the darkness of his past. Back to witchcraft, (Jupiter Talisman anyone?), joined a secret combination (masonry!), and worst of all, he COMITTED ADULTERY.

Malachi 2: “My covenant was with him… they should seek the law at his mouth [law of the gospel, section 42], for he is the messenger of the Lord of Hosts…

The Lord hath been a witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou has dealt treacherously.”

Joseph Smith may have been a bit of a rascal with his masonic and occult hobbies, but cheating on the wife of your youth is kind of a big deal.

How did Joseph sink so low??? Christ explains:

Mathew 12:

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

When Joseph Smith lost the Spirit, he was under the influence of evil spirits x7.

Some people have been indoctrinated to think prophets are perfect.

Read Section 3:

4 For although a man may have many revelations, and have power to do many mighty works, yet if he boasts in his own strength, and sets at naught the counsels of God, and follows after the dictates of his own will and carnal desires, he must fall and incur the vengeance of a just God upon him.

Combine that with the prophecy spoken of by Nathan the prophet in 2 Samuel 7:

13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son… [when] he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

Like I said in the first part of this series, by those stripes we are healed.

Joseph Smith did not atone for our sins… obviously…

But his atonement allowed us to have a chance at receiving the fulness, which sanctifies and heals us.

In the next part of this series I will explain why the suffering servant is Joseph Smith, not our Lord Jesus Christ, and what that means for us and the rest of the world.

The Prophet pt. 2 “even that prophet shall die”

Another piece of evidence that proves that Joseph Smith was prophesied of by biblical prophets and expected of the Jews, is in the first chapter of the Gospel according to St. John.

The Jews approach John the Baptist and ask if he is Elijah or the Christ.

He says that he is not the Christ, but confesses, and denies not. He confesses that he is not THE Christ, but denies not that he is a christ (annointed).

They ask if he’s Elijah – he says he isn’t. Then they ask if he’s “that prophet”… And he answers no to that as well.

Is “that prophet” Elijah? I do not believe so.

I believe the Jews are asking three things:

Are you the Christ?

Are you Elijah?

Are you that prophet?

I believe “that prophet” is no other than Joseph Smith!

Please read John 1 and think that through for yourself. I believe that exchange of dialogue is talking about three individuals. Read it for yourself and decide. Also check the JST on it.

*

In Deuteronomy 18 we read the beautiful prophecy about Jesus Christ. What most people don’t realize is that there is ANOTHER prophecy two verses ahead that are speaking about the prophet Joseph.

Let’s read:

15 ¶The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Joseph Smith?

No.

The Book of Mormon says the exact same thing in Nephi 22:

20 And the Lord will surely prepare a way for his people, unto the fulfilling of the words of Moses, which he spake, saying: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that all those who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people.

21 And now I, Nephi, declare unto you, that this prophet of whom Moses spake was the Holy One of Israel; wherefore, he shall execute judgment in righteousness.

This is the Holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ, that Moses spoke of in Deuteronomy 18:15

He is RAISED UP in the midst of Israel, though he himself is not one of the brethren of mankind.

A couple verses later, Moses strangely reiterates what he’s just said, except with some significant changes in wording:

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Why did Moses seem to repeat himself?

And why did he repeat himself with distinct changes in wording…

Because he is not speaking of Jesus Christ anymore, he is speaking of Joseph Smith.

Here is the difference between the Christ, and “that prophet”:

among the brethren (human!)

words put in his mouth (receives revelation)

The Christ in verse 15 does not have God’s words PUT into his mouth. We are told to simply hearken to EVERYTHING that the Christ says. It is “that prophet” who is given words from God to say.

If you’re not convinced, let’s continue to learn more about “that prophet” who is among the Jews…

19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Now all you need to do is read the King Follet Sermon and see what happened to Joseph Smith a month later.

Joseph Smith was a prophet who spoke the words of God– the words PUT in his mouth– but when he stopped receiving revelation post-1841, he began to speak presumptuously, speaking after other gods than the one true God of heaven and earth.

Once that happened… “even that prophet shall die”

The Prophet pt. 1 “The New and Everlasting Covenant”

I was born into the grand delusion of Mormonism.

It was very important that I was.

If I hadn’t, I would never have taken Joseph Smith or the Book of Mormon seriously.

I would have wrote the whole thing off as a cult.

I left the LDS church in my teens and became an atheist. By the time I was 21, however, I began to believe in Jesus Christ, simply by reading the Gospels.

Because I found the Lord outside of the LDS corporation, I was able too look into Mormonism with an unbiased view.

I came to realize that Mormonism fulfilled many biblical passages.

One of the craziest realizations of all, was me figuring out that the suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is Joseph Smith.

He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity… and with his stripes we are healed.”

Many, if not all, Christians would call it blasphemy to suggest that the suffering servant is anyone other than Christ. But I am not trying to appease Christians, and I am not seeking to win Mormons over.

I’m calling things as I see them, or how they’ve been revealed to me.

Joseph Smith is an extremely important player. He is on par with Moses and Elijah.

This series will show proofs as to why I believe that Joseph Smith is who he said he was; and even more than he claimed, actually.

One thing that Joseph was… that he himself may not have even known… is this:

Joseph Smith is the embodiement of the new and everlasting covenant.

You already know that Joseph Smith holds the keys of the kingdom in this world and in the world to come (Section 90) but did you know that, he himself, is the new and everlasting covenant?

This is cryptically embedded into Section 45, but can only be understood by reading Isaiah, specifically Isaiah 42:

Behold my servant… I have put my spirit upon him… the isles shall wait for his law [law of the gospel, Section 42]”

I the LORD (Jesus) have called thee (Joseph Smith) in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.”

Now read Section 45:

9 And even so I have sent mine everlasting covenant into the world, to be a light to the world, and to be a standard for my people, and for the Gentiles to seek to it, and to be a messenger before my face to prepare the way before me.

Section 45 refers to the everlasting covenant as a PERSON. A messenger. To prepare the way for the Lord.

Without Joseph Smith, there is no new and everlasting covenant, because he is the covenant.

When the Saints broke the new and everlasting covenant, they broke Joseph Smith. Hence, why he turned into a lying adulterer.

That’s what Sidney Rigdon understood perfectly well.

At the death of Joseph Smith, the keys of the kingdom were lost from the earth. That’s why he said there needed to be a guardian, not a new prophet. Sidney could have protetected the Saints from embracing false doctrine while they waited on Joseph Smith to return.

Even the Saints at the time understood that Joseph Smith had to return. They just put their trust into a jerk-off like Brigahm Young.

That’s what the song Praise to the Man is all about.

Millions shall know brother Joseph again… death cannot conquer the hero again…”

The grand delusion of Mormonism is that Thomas S. Monson has the same priesthood calling as Joseph Smith. Because Thomas S. Monson does not, the church is a cult that trusts in man and not God.

Does that make the LDS church any worse than a Christian church?

No – at least Brigham Young/Tommy Monson have had SOME mandated priesthood.

All Christian churches have put their trust in man. No one on earth has been truly called of God. All pastors are deceived if they honestly believe God has called them to the ministry.

Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon were the last true prophets. And even a true prophet like Sidney Rigdon knew the church was nothing without the new and everlasting covenant.
